Care that puts people first, funded by people who care
Why your support matters
The Iris Center was created to meet a need that’s long gone unmet:
Care that sees people. Care that slows down. Care that doesn’t ask for the right insurance card to open the door.
But this kind of care doesn’t just happen.
It’s made possible by a community of people who believe in something better and choose to support it.
Your donation helps build a healthcare system rooted in dignity, accessibility, and radical human connection. It keeps care affordable. It keeps our doors open to those who have been turned away too many times.
What is a community beneficiary?
A community beneficiary is someone who contributes $1,000 or more each year to help fund care at The Iris Center.
This isn’t a membership. It’s not a subscription.
It’s a personal commitment to help build a new kind of healthcare—one where everyone has a place.
Your donation supports:
Longer visits and fewer patients per day
Accessible, transparent pricing for all
No billing games, no surprise fees
Reserved space for patients who otherwise couldn’t access care
How much should I give?
Our model is sustainable when each provider is supported by 500 community beneficiaries.
At $1,000 per year, that creates a $500,000 foundation to keep care affordable, accessible, and high-quality for all.
Giving is entirely optional—no one is required to donate to receive care. Beneficiaries support the model, but care is open and accessible to all.
-
A five-year commitment helps us build long-term stability so we can keep care accessible and sustainable for everyone.
We offer a few different ways to give—and you’re welcome to choose what works best for you.
If ongoing support is your style, our Sustainable Giving Option makes it easy to contribute monthly while investing in long-term impact.
-
Every contribution, no matter the size or timing, brings us closer to a more human kind of healthcare. If this moment feels right to give, we’re grateful you’re here.
Sustainable Giving Option of $84/month
A consistent monthly gift adds up to meaningful, ongoing support. It’s an easy way to make a big impact over time, one month at a time.
Suggested commitments:
Your support, in any amount, helps make this care possible.
Every dollar goes to The Iris Center. Zeffy may suggest a tip, but it’s optional.
Tax information
The Iris Center is a nonprofit organization currently awaiting final IRS approval of our 501(c)(3) status.
While our tax-exempt status is still pending, we’re deeply grateful for the community support helping us take the final steps to open our doors.
If our application is approved, the IRS will retroactively recognize our exemption from the date of filing. That means any donations made during this time may become tax-deductible once our status is granted.
Thank you for believing in what we’re building. Your support is helping create something truly different.
We’ll keep all donors updated, and once approval is finalized, we’ll provide documentation to help you claim your donation if it qualifies for a deduction.

Where your donation goes
-
From exam rooms to electricity, your gift helps us keep the lights on and the doors open.
-
We compensate our care team so they can do what they do best—spend time with patients, not rush through appointments.
-
Your donation funds print materials, handouts, and trauma-informed tools that meet patients where they are.
-
We reserve visit slots for people navigating financial hardship, insurance gaps, or structural barriers to care.
-
Your support helps us host events, collaborate with local organizations, and build a care ecosystem that goes beyond the exam room.

Thank you.
