How care works at The Iris Center

Care here is steady, personal, and built around real relationships.

Visits are designed to allow time for conversation, follow-up, and shared decision-making, so you always know what to expect and how your care fits together.

A young boy with short brown hair, wearing an orange T-shirt, sitting on a gray sofa with a brown cushion, reading a gray book in a room with a window and green plant in the background.
An elderly man with glasses, a beard, and a straw hat smiling with his hands folded on his stomach, sitting indoors near a brick wall and windows.
A family of four outdoors, smiling and laughing together. The mother holds her young daughter and son, while the father interacts with them. They are surrounded by trees and greenery.
A middle-aged woman with blonde hair and blue eyes outdoors, wearing a turquoise sleeveless blouse with gold accents, a silver necklace, and hoop earrings, smiling at the camera.

Everybody and every body is welcome here.

We created this clinic to offer healthcare as it was always meant to be.

  • You will always know what your visit will cost before it begins. No surprise billing.

  • Labs, imaging, and prescriptions can still go through your insurance when ordered by your provider.

  • We honor the full spectrum of gender, sexuality, background, and lived experience.

  • Every patient is welcomed into a space built on trust, respect, and connection.

  • Our providers take the time to listen, connect, and treat you as a whole person, not just a chart.

  • With fewer patients per day, we create space for real conversations and meaningful care.

New Patients

New patients begin by calling our office at 970-821-7651 to make an appointment and chat with our team to make sure The Iris Center is right for you. Once established as a patient, we’ll help you choose the type of visit and length of time that best meets your needs.

Appointments are offered in person or virtually, with 30min or 60min visits. Pricing for visits and services are listed on our website, allowing financially informed decisions before scheduling.

Can I use insurance?

The Iris Center does not contract with ANY insurance as we provide comprehensive primary care services at costs lower than an average co-pay.

We encourage you to bring your insurance card to share with us, as prescriptions, labs, imaging, and specialty services ordered through our center can be billed through your insurance if you choose.

Your care is guided by clinical judgment and patient goals, with attention to continuity and follow-through.

We know healthcare can feel complicated. If you need help understanding how care works here or what to expect around cost, we’ll walk through it with you.
