How care works at The Iris Center

The Iris Center is not a traditional clinic. We do not bill insurance for office visits. That choice allows us to stay focused on what matters most: taking care of people. Our model creates time, space, and affordability in a healthcare system that often fails to do so.
Here is what you can expect as a patient:
Clear, upfront pricing
You will always know what your visit will cost before it begins. No surprise billing.
Insurance-friendly referrals
Labs, imaging, and prescriptions can still go through your insurance when ordered by your provider.
A safe and affirming environment
Every patient is welcomed into a space built on trust, respect, and connection.
Inclusive care for all identities
We honor the full spectrum of gender, sexuality, background, and lived experience.
Care that feels human again
Our providers take the time to listen, connect, and treat you as a whole person, not just a chart.
Freedom from the pressure of rushed appointments
With fewer patients per day, we create space for real conversations and meaningful care.
Care that centers people
You do not have to make a donation or become a beneficiary to receive care. Anybody is welcome to be a patient at The Iris Center, and every body is treated with the same respect and care.
A way to support care, not a requirement
Some patients and supporters choose to become beneficiaries by donating $1,000 per year. This donation helps fund our model and allows us to keep visit costs low for everyone.
Becoming a beneficiary is completely optional. You can still be seen here whether or not you donate. Every patient matters. Every patient belongs.
