Accessibility Statement.
Effective Date: April 29, 2025
Our commitment to accessibility
The Iris Center is committed to ensuring that our website and physical spaces are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
We believe that healthcare must be accessible not only in philosophy, but in practice—and that includes digital access for all users.
We are actively working to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to ensure that our content is usable by the broadest possible audience.
What we’re doing
We aim to design our website to be clear, readable, and navigable by screen readers and other assistive technologies
We use alt text on images, descriptive link labels, and keyboard-friendly layouts
We avoid flashing or visually disruptive design elements
We test our content for usability and accessibility with commonly used tools and platforms
We listen to feedback—and welcome it

Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is not a one-time project—it’s a continuous commitment.
As The Iris Center grows, we will continue to evaluate and update our practices to make sure our digital presence reflects our values: inclusivity, transparency, and care for all.
Our site is built using Squarespace, which maintains its own accessibility practices in alignment with WCAG standards.
We partner with third-party tools that aim to meet accessibility standards, but we are not responsible for their compliance.
