How care works at The Iris Center

Care here is steady, personal, and built around real relationships.

Visits are designed to allow time for conversation, follow-up, and shared decision-making, so you always know what to expect and how your care fits together.

Everybody and every body is welcome here.

We created this clinic to offer healthcare as it was always meant to be.

  • You will always know what your visit will cost before it begins. No surprise billing.

  • Labs, imaging, and prescriptions can still go through your insurance when ordered by your provider.

  • We honor the full spectrum of gender, sexuality, background, and lived experience.

  • Every patient is welcomed into a space built on trust, respect, and connection.

    Inclusive care for all identities
We honor the full spectrum of gender, sexuality, background, and lived experience.

  • Our providers take the time to listen, connect, and treat you as a whole person, not just a chart.

  • With fewer patients per day, we create space for real conversations and meaningful care.

Request Care at The Iris Center

Receiving Care

New Patients

New patients begin by requesting care through this website. A member of the team then follows up to discuss fit, availability, and next steps. Once established as a patient, individuals choose the type of visit and length of time that best meets their needs.

Appointments are offered in person or virtually, with clear options for visit length. Pricing for each visit type and service is listed on the website, so patients can make informed decisions before scheduling.

Scope of care

The Iris Center provides comprehensive primary care services offered directly in the clinic. When a service is outside the scope of the practice, providers help patients find appropriate next steps through recommendations or referrals.

Care is guided by clinical judgment and patient goals, with attention to continuity and follow-through.

Insurance and outside services

Insurance is not required to be seen at The Iris Center. Office visits are paid out of pocket, with transparent pricing listed in advance.

When prescriptions, labs, imaging, or specialty services are needed, providers can order those services to be completed outside the clinic. Patients may use insurance for those services if they choose.

This model works alongside insurance rather than replacing it.

The people providing care

Care is delivered by experienced providers who chose to make an impact and practice outside of large healthcare systems. This allows them to focus on thoughtful visits, clinical quality, and long-term patient relationships.

How this model is sustained

The Iris Center does not bill insurance for office visits. Community Sustained Care helps support the clinic itself, making this approach to primary care possible.
